Ok, I'll post just to get rid of that "our records indicate you have never..." message. :)

Just returned to my 1st (and more natural) instrument after close to twenty years of concentrating on guitar with marginal results (more of a writer than a player) and am back in love with the skins and playing every day. It's funny, although my stamina and confidence was down I do find that I am a better and more tasteful drummer now than I was when I played full time. Maybe it's because I have played with some fantastic drummers during my time playing guitar and it rubbed off a little.

I have the same crappy entry level set my mom bought me when I was 15 that I have always bashed around on, but have developed a real appreciation for vintage Slingerlands (and Ludwigs) from jumping on my drummers sets whenever I could over the years.
