Badge Cleaning

Can anyone advise me of the best way to clean this bagde?[Attachment: 125072]

I couldn't say the best way but if it were mine, I'd probably, without removing badge, tape off around the badge and use a small brass wire wheel on a dremel or similar to remove that oxidation.

Looking forward to hear others input also.

Best way is to take it off if you really want to clean it. It's pretty soft metal and easily scratched. Take it off and you can baby it back with a soaking in Dawn deterg and the usual soft cloth/soft toothbrush/thumbnail routine for cleaning. A metal polish--Brasso worked for me--may help, especially if you have the badge off the drum and in your hands.

Tape it off, then use Mothers Mag Cleaner. I have used it and it works pretty well.

Same thing you clean your cymbals with, but tape it off. That don't work, Brasso.
