Babylon Berlin Killer Vintage Kit ...

I watched this wicked Babylon Berlin series on Netflix a while back and saw this scene with equally wicked vintage kit. The drummer's actually playing which is a pleasant surprise as they're normally stick-synching.

Solo at 3:09. The question is, What are you more h o r n e y for? The drum kit? Or the jiggles?

Perfect answer Tommy!

Back in the 90's I worked in a video store and my female boss and another female employee were grilling me about my likes and dislikes, you know, and my boss asks, "Chris, are you a leg man or a breast man?" Without missing a beat I said "I don't discriminate."

K - guess you had to be there.

Johnny : Is all you ever think about drums?!?

Babylon Berlin is a great series. Watch w/ subtitles if you don't mind reading.

That's a great line!

I also like the Jerry Seinfeld response to that question:

"I'm more of a breast man. I have legs."

Twenty years ago I probably would had said the opposite, but these days, I try to keep my mind out of the Toilet

That looks like a great series. I'm going to have to check that out.

First, that kit is especially drool-worthy to me, because my very first set was a yellowed WMP round-badge Gretsch kit with rocket lugs. God I miss that kit. Sold it for $100! DOH

Isn't it great to see period-correct kits in movies and TV shows? Although, I'm not sure how that 1930's Gretsch set made it's way to Nazi Germany at a time when jazz clubs and American music were being banned. Maybe I'm being too nick-picky and should just enjoy that great depiction of a decadent, underground jazz club. Those Swingjugend sure knew how to party.
