Avedis Buddy Rich question!

Hi all,

Does anyone know anything about the period when BR used Avedis and had his own personal cymbals stamped?

Perhaps this is not a particularly well known fact and I know he had this done, but if so I would appreciate any information on the subject either via the forum or by PM.

Don't know what year he had it done,but I had a 18" A.Zil that was stamped into the metal BR very nicely under the A.Zil logo.........

A old guy in NJ sold me a bunch of old A's for $75 each,and when I got them,I about **** when I saw that!

Traded it to a "buddy" (ha!) for a 20,12,14 Rogers Cleveland Blue Sparkle kit.........

Bill on here had a Gene Krupa 16" that was stamped the same (GK),and got over $2,000 for that I recall............

I should have put the BR online.....I might have got $3,000 for it!
