School auctioning off what looks like all its old drum sets and snares.

Local pick up only or I would be all over these.

Let the pics speak for themselves but some of the sets and snares are great.

If anyone could identify some the sets that would be interesting.

Oh yes the auction is online only.

Wow, I wish I was in NY I would bring cash and buy them all..

Lets see photo set looks to be a 60s MIJ set but the snare on top of the floor looks to be a WW2 Ludwig..

Photo 2 1970s Ludwig set

#3 1964-69 Ludwig set

#4 marching snares all look to be Ludwig 196-0s

#5 all the look good to me Ludwig and others..

Ludwig was a big supplier to schools (probably at a deep discount). We had an interesting kit for the jazz band- 20 or 22 kick (probably a 22) with a 12-13 up and a 16 and 20" floor tom.

And we had a supra with it, which also was used for concert duty. Actually I think we had a few supras.

Also marching drums, including green tint plexi triples (the junior high had red-white-blue plexi triples)

When I was attending we got some "modern" Pearl marching drums. Individually tunable snares etc. MUCH nicer than the strap hanging old Ludwigs.
