thanks mark. ive got a ton of cool vintage snare stands including some uncommon models. this one has alluded me somehow or another though. one day....

Thanks Mike & VM2K, finally, after 48 some odd years I know just what the heck this thing is....lol

Like I had mentioned, it came with my used WFL's when I got them in 1965. Who knows how old this stand really is?

Maybe not too pretty, but to me, beautiful. Still using it!

Plastic Dip available in colors at Ace Hardware. Transfer to a deli container or large clean tomato can and Voila. You can also use left overs to dip sticks for a "vic grip". $10.

You can tape the stand cage to keep it nice, even and neat.
