Only YOU should make that decision.... While you own, maintain, & play the kit on occasion.... YOU ARE a drummer...

Sell them off and you will be an EX Drummer... big difference..

My two bobs worth....

Cheers

John

First off thank you all for the response

They are a part of me since young and now that I did sell my cob super 400! The super phonic I have is ok but still not the same miss that one , at least I still play a little jazz with brushes and I feel good it’s therapeutic I actually feel like a time traveler that goes back to a different time when I sit on them , I gave away a bunch of no name snare and cymbal stands to help kids I have some odd and ends I’ll give to them too

I know what she’s doing , I see as we all have to be aware of is our longevity is not guaranteed so yes one day I’ll pass it on but it will not be today I never really new how many friends I have here thanks to all

Gary aka houndog and away we go lol

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

I don't think it's really appropriate to get a whole forum involved in a situation between two married people, simply because it's no one's business what goes on between them. Naturally, we're all going to tell the OP to keep the drums. What else would anyone expect us to say? Sell them? No.

It’s not a command it’s a suggestion I am my own person so it’s ok to get feedback here
