Arggh.. Just just trying to buy some heads.

Thought this would be simple enough. New batter/reso's required for the nephews Maxwin by Pearl 12/13/16/22 build. Want Remo Black Dot clear on top, will look sharp with blue exterior and white interior. Found those.

Seem to be mistaken that Remo made a low cost reso clear. The kid is 8 so things will happen. Found Evans G-1's but would need to order from two places. Shipping costs no fun.

Anyone know if DFD or others have stuff not listed? Other idea's?

Thanks!

Creighton

Check out used head sets on ebay for cheap. Might work well for this situation.

DrumfactoryDirect has Attack 1-ply clear heads at a reasonable price. Good budget heads.

Creighton - Contact Glenn, (Fer428) his son has a distributor deal with Evans. He 'might' be able to save you a few bucks. Glenn's a good guy, try him.

Hi Creighton. Yes Dan can get Evans heads. He used to get a great price. But their pricing structure changed a few years ago. He's not a super high volume buyer so the little guys got whacked with a price increase. So it's now a little more than DFD charges. But still not bad. The other thing he has a $200 minimum charge per order. So if you need heads maybe I can get some also. Dan might need a few things since it's all under D'Addario he can get Puresound wires and of course guitar strings. Lemme know!

And thanks John for the nice referral~! :)

Glenn.

Not a guru just havin fun with some old dusty drums.

Thanks everyone!

Found Remo black dots on DFD. Remo>Clear>Control Sound sold out of the 16" but can work around that. Went with the Attack head package for the reso's. $112 total. Very happy there.

Glenn, still need heads for the white Pearl kit. Figure out what you and Dan want and I'll sort my end. Should be no problem to hit the $200.

Only found a 16" Remo Black dot on Interstate. JS shell pack price was close to the Attacks. Have done biz with DFD before so went with them.

Appreciate all of the the replies.
