Are these part of drum set?

Loading...

So I finally got my 64 Sllingerland Gene Krupa Deluxe set delivered, after waiting since august. Every piece was there of this one owner set with all original slingerland heads on all drums and all hardware and every freaking screw and nut but when I came across these I don't know what they are or if they even belong.

both are identical and fairly strong steel and either chromed or very shiny nickel

Sunglasses there for size reference.

Have no idea. What does the seller say?

Do they have any clips or screw mount set up?

Those metal parts look like they

might have been corner covers for an amplifier or maybe a fiber trap case.

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

They have no holes in them anywhere, very odd because the workmanship is really good.

I guess whomever found this set and delivered it to the auction house thought they were drum parts.

I will definitely get pics up when I get them cleaned up. I got a Rogers set last weekend and am in the process of getting that one all shined up first. It was also complete with throne and stands and original cymbals.

Part of the Krupa set is the matching single ply snare. When I bid on the auction, I did not even know it was included as it was not in any description or picture. Here it is with left side not cleaned and right side scrubbed with dawn and toothbrush

Talk about a real bonus with the single-ply snare drum! Looks like the White Satin Flame is cleaning up nicely. Congrats!

Yes, did a little tom cleaning sunday night as it was really nice out on the patio. Love how these shells glow under flash pics.
