Just wondering if 1961 Ludwig/Gretsch 2 bolt, phone dial, spade clip consolettes are the same.
Are the various parts a compatible fit? eg; putting together the arm + phone dial + spade clip from one or the other or both

It Depends. A&G (the manufacturers) made many revisions to the mount over the years and parts from one series do not fit another. I know this firsthand. If both were manufactured in 1961, you have a decent chance of them matching but it still depends.
I have two rails that look, to the naked eye, to be the same size. Nope.
The riser I have fits one rail, but doesnt fit the other.
The spade I have fits one riser top, but doesnt tighten in the other (the diam is too small).
So, the parts do not always match.
