Are Big R's worth much?

Question is, is this a worthwhile project?

Craigslist in town has 3 Rogers toms (2 up 1 floor) and other stuff for $150.

https://boise.craigslist.org/msg/d/boise-mixed-up-drum-kit/6794791039.html

Vintage Rogers Tom shells center tom notch cut to clear bass.

Included is a large plastic bin full of random hardware for the Vintage Rogers kit , some Tama & Pearl stand sections and a few more pearl Bells.

Large Tama floor Tom converted to kick bass drum.

Pearl snare

Tama and Pearl double bass pedal but deleted/ without 2nd pedal

Zildian 14" hats w Yamaha hat stand/pedal

1" outer crack on the Tama ride symbol

Rough old Tama throne

Spare heads too.

If the one tom has been notched, Is it trouble in getting the whole tom cut down some to replace the bearing edge on the reso side?

Looks like import Rogers shells. Mounts are not memriloc. Badges look like exterior edges are black. USA Shells have silver edge with black strip inside the edge.

Hmmm, I could raise the toms and angle them more towards me to clear the bass drum, but that would be too easy. I could also just have the shell cut shallower all the way around to make positioning easier. Nah, I would rather make a really complicated cut and ruin the shell in the process.

I would pass on these.

Photo for posterity's sake.

Why would anyone cut the shells to clear the bass? Common sense did not prevail in this case...
