Back in the day,I saw Rory Gallagher live on a few occasions.Rory's drummer at the time,Rod deAth was playing a set of the Arbiters with a Slingy COB 5x14 snare.
I though the drums sounded great.Deep and woody.
That kit is just beautiful.Maybe time to join a Rory Gallagher tribite bandYes Sir

I've seen this kit for sale on e bay uk(£2700 BUY IT NOW). I've a feeling that it could be the one that I purchased from new in 1979. The bass drum tom-tom mounting post bracket split after a couple of months.It was cheap cast metal and so I had a steel one machined - this would be the giveaway id wise.The bass drum is so heavy it pulled the handle off my fibre case! I traded it in for a new set of the original Tama Superstars after 12 months.

Steve - Man, Rory Gallagher, you brought back some memories! I was a huge Gallagher fan before many of my friends knew who he was. It was always big fun for me to turn somebody on to the band who had never heard of them. My favorite from him was always the, Jinx album. You really sent me on a trip in the Way-Back Machine by mentioning his name.

Hello......If you still have the Arbiter Autotune kit. Does it have the metal rollers or black plastic blocks under each hoop. The early ones in demand are the ones with the rollers, the ones with black blocks are not in as much demand. The model with rollers is very rare and hard to find. Also only three colours White Black & a Yellow. Anything else is a respray.
