My take is two folks doing the stamping and different roller date stamps. MAR 28 1958 is mashed on the 1958 (pressing too hard).

APR 41 1958 is mashed on APR. The font appears larger on this one. Without serious mucking about in PhotoShop can't confirm.

Just another "The heads will hide it day" :-).
