OK, after watching it a few times I still don`t understand Buddy`s HH technique. His leg is constant, but his hats move only when he wants them to.

I figure he is either stepping then landing his foot on the pedal or moving on and off at will. You know what I mean, stepping then stopping but still moving ? I tried it on the floor without a pedal, bouncing my leg, but lifting only to open the Hats.

I heel on the plate and press, How does he get the same control ?

It`s a drum,.....Hit It !!
