Can anyone give me an idea what these drums are worth? I am told they are a Mercury set from the mid 1960's. Someone local to me has them for sale. Not sure if I'm interested. Would appreciate any input.

Hi The drum set was made in the 60s by hoshino that was tama before tama is what it is today.....They made them with names like star,mercury, hoshino,,ete about 40 names they[tama] used..Your set has the "star" lugs on it copys of the 60s sonor lugs..I would say if set is in good condition 150.00-200.00 the color is called butterscocth pearl a little rarer than the sparkles finish.Sparkle finishs are 75.00-100.00...mike
