Apollo Drums - ALL!

I still have my Apollo set from the late 60's. Purchased from McMurray store off of Page Ave. in St. Louis. I even dated Linda McMurray during that time as well. I've got what was called the "Gold Amber" color and was the leader of a couple bands back in the late 60's early 70's during my HS days. Anyone remember "General Mills & his Cheerios"?

I have a blue, brushed aluminum look, wrap finish, four piece, Apollo drum set. As far as I can tell it looks to be vintage. But, as a collector you may know, it is hard to find anything about this brand of drums on the internet. I've seen a few go for 400 dollars and i was curious to if you know anything about pricing on these? I'd like to sell it. Its in pretty great condition. If you could email me that would be great.

Hey you guys - I think I have found a killer Apollo snare. It has an aftermarket strainer on it...but it is potentially a very rare find. 6.5 inches deep....with the Sonor imitation lugs. I believe there is a Pearl style lug on it as well and needs new wires - but check it out.

Check it out - email the guy. He can send a couple more pics to you....and he is only asking $60. I have no idea if this is original or not. It could have been a mod or something?? I have not been able to find any 6.5 Apollo snares in any catalogs.

Congrats to whoever scores it - cool piece even if it is not all original or a mod or something.

I had a great day! Instead of sleeping in and wasting the day, I got up at 8 and I had all my slacking done by noon!

Amazing that you even found that snare drum, considering that the title says "Don't Need these items anymore". Really scratching my head with some sellers titles!
