The badge dates these to the late 60`s...Also, these were made by the Star company...

In my opinion, Rod is right on. I have two sets of old Star bongos. One is almost identical to yours...different badge of course.

they are my fathers. i just dont know anything about apollo. they dont sound the best by anymeans...

Hi not to insult you by any means but that a peace of crap bongo made very cheaply back 60-70's. You can find better made bongos today in brands like matador and a few other company's out there.

Sure you can find better sounding bongos. That's not relevant. They were your dad's. That's what matters! Treasure these instruments and think of your dad every time you look at them. To him, they were treasures. They should be to you as well!
