Too bad we couldn`t put together a kit and donate it to a charity or to a deserving kid from the VDF!! Be a cool thing to do...It would also bring us closer together as a community...

Jeff, your mind is not starting to go! You are a very sharp and vital contributor to this great forum! I always enjoy reading what you have to say and certainly appreciate all of your contributions.

Rod: That's a great idea, my friend! I have several rims, lugs , strainers and even some tom mounts that I would be more than happy to donate! I'll pay for shipping as well. There comes a point when our love for vintage drums surpasses monetary gain! Let me know if I can help in any way ,please.

Just thinking out loud, but, maybe it`s easier if us Canadians put together a kit, our American members put together one, European, etc...That way no borders are crossed for parts, drums, etc...

We need members to help with this...Maybe become a yearly thing for holiday season...

TommyP, would this sort of thing be allowed on the Forum?
