Anyone Know What This Snare Is?

Loading...

I apologize upfront but this is the only picture I have of the drum at this point. This looks to be an import snare of some sort (maybe Tama?), 6.5x14, 8 lugs. I'm hoping the experts can tell me more about it with the little info I have and the single picture. If anyone knows exactly what is, I'd also like to know what it's worth also.

Thanks!

i suspect it is a tama rockstar, worth about 50 bux. usually tama drums have two sets of either 3 or 4 lines. the four lines are on lots of the gooders..... the ''seamless'' shells. the only snares I am aware of that tama made in that depth with the two sets of 3 lines came with the 80s rockstars. not a bad drum by any means ......... but not overly collectable or valuable.

Yep... definitely a Rockstar snare drum from the late 80's. As previously stated, a decent enough snare drum, but no real value. The lugs are called "Sure-Tune" and are heavy and well made. The strainer does not appear to be original.
