Good day,
I acquired this kit some time ago from a guy who said it was his grandfather's. There are no badges or serial numbers, no bottom skins or hoops, but I got a 5 star Zyn 18" rivet cymbal with it. bass and toms are wrapped in black leather. To help identify, I'm adding URLs to some pictures of the snare mechanism, lugs, dampening arms that are present in all drums, and mounting holes on bass drum. the bass drum looks like a 22", but a little narrower than standard, toms are 12, 13 and 16"
I guessed for a while that its a mid 70s Ludwig Black panther kit, but the mount holes don't match(Ludwig Black panthers only seem to have 1 mount hole, this kit has 2). An acquaintance of mine(who restores kits in his spare time) thinks its a Premier kit, but can't get more specific than that.
I am contemplating selling this, but would like to find out what it is and if its worth buying bottom hoops and skins, or if its worth something and leaving as is for someone to restore.
Any input would be greatly appreciated
