Anyone know this lug? Last viewed: 5 hours ago

Looks like Rogers and Tama but I don't think it's either.

maybe.

No stamp inside but there is what looks like it might be a "J" on the inside near the edge.

These have some weight. Don't seem cheap.

I know Tama got in trouble for rippin off Rogers lugs.

I had a Pearl Snare years ago with lugs that looked just like those. Could be?

It looks like something the MIT people would have cooked up after Tama changed their lug design. Make their drums look like Tama's, but with the wrong spurs, mounts and extra-splintery luan shells. There were some pretty crappy drums produced in the 80's...They even have a Rogers look to them.

This does appear to be a poorly executed "JAPAN" stamp.

I'm thinking this may be off an Aria kit.

MIJ MIT whatever. I think a factory somewhere in Aisia lobbed these out for all the MIJ companies. Is it the same lug from a Rogers 360? Im not sure.

i have an old 60s (i believe) mij snare with those lugs.

the only marking on my snare is japan stamped on the butt plate.

its not a bad snare. im pretty sure your lug is a common mij lug.
