I'd like to make a website for vintage drums. But, I just don't know where to start. Does anyone have knowledge on this topic? I'm trying to make one that I won't need to pay for(Is that possible)??

If you have a mac, it's a piece of cake. I make websites every year for my students and parents to hit. If you don't have a mac...........well...........it's not so easy. It's not difficult, but it's definitely not "mac" easy.

I've made websites on the PC and did not enjoy it.

That's what I call giving the cat a bath. Not impossible, but lots of work....

Its better to have people think you're an idiot, than to open your mouth and prove them wrong, unless you doubt yourself then speak away....

There are many "hosts" that offer free pages. Google "free website hosting". They also have very easy to use set up software that allows you to make a simple page.

examples are:

http://www.110mb.com/

http://www.doteasy.com/

http://www.bravenet.com/

So there are 5 right at the top of that exact google reply.

What? Bathe my cat? That's just odd and unnerving.

Actually, a mac comes with iweb and such. It's pretty much automatic. You lay it out like a simple page layout program or word processor with pics. Very sweet work. Then you post it. You can do the free websites or pay for a dotmac account. I choose to pay per year 'cause it's way easier to deal with. I also get 20 or 30 gigs of storage. I can send and synch my iphone and home mac from anywhere in the world. Too cool.

The simplest, least technical and free method is to set up a Blog using Google.

They have built in templates and you can control the content add photos and update the blog. There are tons of "gadgets" you add and place around the blog that have different content.

I have built over 70 web sites ranging from simple to complex all with a PC.
