Anyone know anything about Vega Percussion? Last viewed: 4 days ago

Loading...

Hi everyone. Ive had this snare drum for a while and used it many times in the past. I decided to sell it so I tried to find out any info on it. All I have to go on is the name Vega Percussion. I have looked on Google, Bing, Wikipedia and on and on and nothing. Its a steel 14x5 snare and its in good condition except the Vega Percussion logo looks old and worn. I will attach a picture and would appreciate any info.

Vega drums were available into the 90's, but I've forgotten who distributed them. They were of entry level quality.

I've had a Vega kit or two... yup, entry level... not worth much.

Update on 'Vega' Drums...

These are NOT Pearl stencils. Vega was another marketing name for 'Samick' drums, made in Korea.

On closer scrutiny the hoops are not Pearl and the shell is not the "reeded" style. But the lugs look like Battleships to me. Hmmmmmm...
