Anyone know anything about SEIMATONE drums?

There's a really fascinating-looking snare on feeBay right now. Check it out. Looks like 20's-40's vintage.

Yes! SEIMATONE - A French vintage line of high quality drums.

(Which is why I posted my "Incredible Website!" post in the 'Vintage Non-USA drums' section where it belongs, and NOT in the 'General Drum Questions' area to which it has been moved. The referred to link is a French website which is a virtual cornucopia of French manufactured drums and percussion, past and present, including photos, histories, badges, players, and much more.

SEIMATONE is found there.

Perhaps an administrator of our forum neglected to click on the link I listed and presumed that the history of French drum manufacturing is something akin to asking "what type of heads should I put on my vintage Reuther?" [sic] DOH

I suggest replacing my post in the 'Vintage Non-USA drums' forum area where it belongs. Yes Sir
