Anyone here tacked a reso head?

I'm looking for information on how to put a new tacked-on head on a drum. Anyone here done that?

I called around the Seattle area looking to have a tacked on head redone on this 30's Ludwig&Ludwig 9x13 tom I just got on ebay.Can do.Check the hand drumming shops in your local.No big deal.It's the same as putting a head on a tambourine.flowers2

Yes - thanks - I found that same information after I posted this Thread. I got a couple of replys to emails I sent out.

I'll be contacting some of the hand-drum shops to make sure I don't miss an important step haha. I would like to do this right the first time & do a very nice neat job.
