I've successfully swapped the "clamping" part from the 2-bolt rail to the 4 bolt rail (and vice-versa)several times, so I'm thinking the diameter of the rail is the same, but, as you know, the sliding part can get mangled and mis-shapen. Someone at the forum said that these rail consolettes were all made by the same company for the big drum manufacturers of the time.

There is a complete assembly on ebay right now starting at $29. might want to check it out. Was recently listed, so should be towards the top of the list.....
