Anyone have a few of these laying around??

Ok...I see where you read that in my words but I guess that was written a little confusing.....

the $100 I was referring to was the $50 a pop for the plastic ones....I didn't word that very well.

I was trying to say this....if it is going to cost me $100 to buy the plastic parts I will just have my buddy cnc machine new ones for me.....not that it was going to cost me $100 for me to have them made. That was my fault for not wording that better....

I would replace them with metal, given your connections, and get those plastic ones off of Mikey777 as well. This way you have your drum souped up for your playing and if/when you decide to dump it you can put 'er back to original. No lose situation for what amounts to be about a half tank of gas, if I read Mikey's post correctly on the price.

P.S. If you are going to use the metal/plastic plans you laid out for Jonnistix consider delryn if your buddy has any laying around. It is a durable material.

have a wonderful evening
