Anyone ever see this old Pearl badge?

The "P" kind of looks like the Premier "P", no?

I've never seen this Pearl badge before, or one with single lugs for that matter.

Mike, You're correct late 60's on your drum. FYI, I'm on the lookout for a floor tom with the same finish just like your snare, but blue instead of yellow. It's called Blue Galaxy I believe. Looking for a 16 to finish off a DB kit.

I had a SBP 22 13 16 all with that badge,stick saver rims,and a 7 lug a side FT.

I liked the look of the badge kind of a Sling Premier hybrid.

I always thought they were early 60's,nice to know they were 65 67 if SBP was offered at that time.

when i got mine, i was told it was late 50's. i think that was an assumption due to the badge design and overall uncertainty. i knew it wasnt that old due to the wrap and overall design of the drum. 65-67 makes perfect sense for that wrap. people can say what they want about pearl, but the chrome on mine really overshadows many drums in my collection. probably only my mid 60's sonor has chrome with this quality.

I am of the bent that this badge is 65 or earlier. This type of leg bracket was not used much past this point in time.
