LOL !! Maybe celebrating their 105th anniversary too much ??!
Anyone else notice this ?
Hmm...maybe my eyes, and grammar, are just bad! What I see in some of the descriptions is where they give the name of the veneer and say "over Poly-Glass lacquer finish". Is that what you're referring to?As far as typo's from other drum companies, I've seen it quite a bit! I have many 60's and 70's Slingerland catalogs and found a good one describing the GK 1N kit in the 1973 catalog. I was going to scan mine, but find it easier to include the link to that page from the "vintagedrumguide" section. Read the description and pay close attention to the bass drum pedal description. Now, if that wasn't an embarrassment to Slingerland, I don't know what was!http://www.vintagedrumguide.com/images/slingerland_drum_sets/1973-slingerland-drumsets2.jpg-Mark
Oops.. My mistake.. I saw the other description which said Speed Pedal, but it looks like a Yellow jacket pedal, only not Yellow !..LOL ! This is why i'm no Slingy expert ;)
Ha ha, Speed King. Yes, oops is the word.As for the original posting about the Ludwig site, I seem to be in the same boat as idrum4fun - my eyes and grammar must be going. All I spotted was the word "Jazette" spelled like that with the one Z. Twice. Everything else looked okay to me...
There are others. You have to click on the first pic in the gallery, in this case, the new Electrostatic blue kit, and then keep clicking the arrow icon on the pic and see what it says.. The birds eye maple jazzette kit's description says--Classic Maple LCG Kit featuring NEW Aquaburst Poly-Glass Lacquer Finish. ! Keep clicking until you reach the next maple jazzette kit and read the description..Then keep clicking until you see the Aqua polyglass lacquer and read description.. And then just keep clicking away on the rest of the pics.. Waaayy off ! " Lol !!
