Gentlemen

I have a cymbal that was given to my dad from Gene K many many years ago, at the Roy Knapp studio, in Chicago. I was hoping it was autographed, that would make it more collectable, but its not. My dad now 86 , was a student then teacher at Knapps studio when he met Krupa, they become friends, (My dad said Gene would always polk fun at him because because his name "Kouba" had a similiar ring to "Krupa")

sadly my dad is going to a nursing home, and I'm selling some of his collection to help him pay rent, I'm not going to list this on e bay, I want someone to appreciate it. Its vintage is around 1940ish Zenjian 13" splash.

I'm not even sure what to ask to be honest, I'm going through my dads stuff this week to see if I canfind any pictures of him and Gene together. Maybe the vets here can give me some feedback. I'm sure I will find more desire drum stuff soon, G
