Any Info on these Duplex Snare wires?

These were attached to a late 20's Leedy Professional when I acquired it.

Veerry small coils and also says "Pat. Pending".

Does anybody know if they are period correct or can put them in an approximate decade?

I have the same 12 strand Duplex wires on my mid-1930's Leedy & Strupe snare drum. And everything on that drum was original. Interesting that the patent on these remained "pending" for 5-7 years (or more). I'd imagine yours are period correct for your drum.

Great! I am familiar with the Duplex name, but that is about it. I wasn't sure if Leedy made their own snares wires or not.
