Any ideas on the maker of this 10 lug snare drum or any other info on it? No badges or anything....I haven't seen lugs like this very often and the throw off is definitely of the vintage type.

That's what I'd think, going by the lugs and strainer, though there are greater experts around here who might know better!

Looks like a generic, MIT that are still all over the place. Strainer is a bit older. I would say late 70's to early 80's. It's interesting that many of these cheap, generic snares had 10 lugs for some reason. Who woulda thunk?
I do like the look of those Rogers-esque lugs.

Hello,
This is most probably a 'Hoshino Professional' snare drum from the 70's.
That Hoshino (Kougyou) is totally different from Hoshino Gakki, which is Tama now.
