Absolutely not, in my opinion. Not even if the shells were 3-ply with re-rings...

$1000 for that kit is pretty spendy in the current economy, and even back when it was better! I'd guess $650 TOPS would be what he could get for it.

The hoops have been refinished.

Absolutely not worth $1K.

Guitar Center had a set of these for sale at the start of this year for under a grand. I checked it out. Keep in mind, this was a retailer with a need for profit and it was eleven months ago when prices were a bit higher.

I would walk away from your deal. No way is it worth it.

You know its weird? I saw a 16x16 BBB FT going for like $700 on FEEbay like three weeks ago...Its the BBB becoming more collectable? Judging by the price it reached I'd say a grant its not THAT bad...just my humble opinion...

I'm only asking a 1/3 that for mine and they are the same shells and lugs...I am getting nowhere with it either...so a grand...I don't think so.

Anybody saw those BBB that went for crazy pices on Feebay like three weeks ago or so?.... Well, maybe it was just another case of Shill bidding...That's another problem with Feebay: you never know what is real...
