Another saved snare

Repurposed and brought back to life a trashed Apollo MIJ shell I had laying around. My wife suggested I use some gold rims and tube lugs I had on it. Just wish I had a gold tone throw to put on it. Will keep an eye out for one to change out.

Anyway..... Another saved drum that I think came out pretty sweet and it sounds great.

No Guru - I just love collecting & learning about vintage drums!

Maybe a hit of gold spray paint on that inexpensive throw off would do the trick. Awesome job anyway!!

Very nice,I don't remember seeing a lot of marine pearl type finishes getting that kind of treatment.
