Could someone help me find out some information on a Slingerland snare drum or point me in the right direction to input a SN to find out as much as I can? Thanks very much! Here is the SN number: 131792

1965 Slingerland Champagne Sparkle 22, 12, 13, 16
1965 Slingerland COB Krupa Sound King
1960's Slingerland Student snare (unfinished project)
1970's Tempro finished in Ruby Strata

There really isn't a way to cross-reference a serial number to details on your particular drum. You can look up the badge type and serial number, and those two pieces of info combined can give you a ballpark age for the drum.

But to get as much information as possible, your best bet is to post detailed pictures. An experienced eye can look at the badge and hardware details to date the drum and figure out more about it.

Okay thanks, SkyDog75! I'll see if I can get some pictures up. They are not real good but...You are right, there are some sharp eyes on this forum!

I believe the finish is champagne sparkle and jeez, that badge looks round!
