From vibes

I played for a big party the guitar player in the band I play in has every year. It was in the parking garage of his condo on the beach, and was like 95 degrees. Was fun. Lots of musicians. Three other drummers. I provided a set. By the time our band played I had been there hours and many beers in that heat.

That's a cool kit, I believe I've seen it on fb.

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Man you guys are having all the fun. I don't know if my band will ever get to the point where we can do gigs like that. Half our band wants to work hard and get out there, the other half is just having fun in the basement and don't practice too much. Myself I have been taking lessons and practicing when ever I can. I really want to do it, so I may have to leave my best buddy's one day for a group with more commitment and desire to play.

Thank you!
