Looks good!
Pretty cool!
Never saw this style of drilled hoops before. Was the hardware originally nickel, or chrome?
very nice. what is that one? a 70's issue?
You did an awesome job! I have a very cute Blue sparkle but is missing the supersensitive system and that a lot to say...Im debating on cutting snare beds or just suffer her dissability for the rest of my life...I just dont have the earth to cut beds on such an unique drum..In my dreams I find the original system...But only in my dreams...
You stained the plastic badge too or I gotta buy a pair of glasses?
I'm guessing 60s. Could be very early 70s, but 60s is statistically more probable and if the hardware is nickel it's early 60s all right.
Yes, that's absolutely right.
Also never seen before oval hoop's holes..

Thanks Gilnar,
the hardware was nickel and in pretty bad shape with lots of rust.

To be honest i do not now but as Gilnar said probably 60's

Thank you Vintage Drum Bug,
i am from Bulgaria and half my life i've been playing crappy drums i.e. Amati,
Tacton etc. so i didn't have any scruples cutting edges on her :) and in a way i'm glad i did as she sounds very exciting now, in fact she's becoming my fav the more i play her.

Yes, i stained the plastic too as the original (black) didn't fit in nicely with the finish. I really like how the color matches the hardware and in reality the
texture of the finish turned amazing, so much that i bought some old vintage
Premier shells off of ebay and thinking of doing a whole kit in this finish.

Don't agree about "crappy" definition --- Chech Amati 60's and DDR's Trowa 50-60's and Tacton beg. 70's with thin shells and re-rings were a great sounding drums, --- also as last version Tacton (with all birch shells and no re-rings) had a quality and sound not worse than Sonors Champion-Phonic-Sonorlite-Signature.
George.
