You see alot of people selling K. Zildjians that are early American(EAK).Tell me,what constitutes an EAK?
These are the K. Zildjian series cymbals manufactured by the Avedis Zildjian Co. after they obtained the rights to this trademark. They manufactured the "early American K.'s" between 1981 and 1984. These were hand hammered and can be recognized by the big stenciled "K" on the underside.

This series was the predecessor to the EAK, and these also appear to have been hand hammered. A friend of mine has one like this and it's very nice.
