To my surprise, this bass head arrived from California today, unharmed, packed only in brown packing paper........

Wow! I should have taken pictures of how well I double boxed a 8x8 rare Tama tom! Even used some 1'' rigid foam insulation in the boxes.

That is amazing. You're a lucky man!

I had an ebay seller send me a paper thin 50's 22 avedis in a remo head box with no packing, no nothing. Me thinks it had a slight previous crack and he shipped it this way to get the shipping company to pay for his cymbal. Stupid.
