Amazing Rogers find if you have a fat wallet!

Check out this craigslist posting. It's about 5 minutes from my house, but I need another drum set like I need a hole in the head.

Price seems really high, but then I've never seen one this complete.

Guys, how much is a fair price for this?

For the right buyer it's the right price. Condition is extremely important for a vintage kit & this one looks like it's in top form.

Couple years ago I sold a mint Londoner Blue Onyx in that ballpark (kit, stands, near-mint vintage cases, Zildjians). I entirely detailed mine w/ Simichrome. Champagne sparkle is a more common wrap than BO.

If I were buying it to keep & play I think 3k is the ceiling, 2250 the basement.

I think Hobbs is right on. It is probably a collector quality arrangement given the completeness down to some boxes. If that part of it is worth it to you and you like the color, then even piece by piece it approaches that kind of value.

;)No, I'm not really criticizing the price. Just kind of in awe. And the completeness of the set, right down to the original boxes, is amazing.

I would love to have it, but my wallet just isn't fat enough!
