Well all i have to do is fill a few holes but i will wait for warmer weather to do that ... i bought these drums here on the forum and i replaced the original spurs someone had put on a set of generic modern spurs heaven knows why and those are the holes i need to fill. the set came with a 15x12, which i kept but i bought a champane sparkle 14x10 and removed the wrap and refinished it natural, also replaced the cymbal holder of which the shell was drilled for two.. so i have two at the moment when all is said and done i will rewrap the whole kit in green sparkle, I also got a cover plate from Jp2 creations to cover the double tom holder hole fits like a glove and lastly i added the rail consolette which i feel makes the kit... Oh and the early style logo.. :)

Sweet kit Mike! It looks so good now, it's almost a shame to wrap it. But, I really love green sparkle, so you have my approval.;)

Wrap if you must, but that's a SWEET looking maple set. I've always loved the natural maple look. These drums are so big...but the natural maple has a warmth that somewhat softens it...as if it could be used to back a very cool 70's acoustic/electric act. too cool.

Well guys i agree i love the natural maple as well and i plan on playing it for a year or two as it is.. then and only then if i still have the bug i will rewrap in green sparkle, as i too love that color.. anyway thanks alot for the comments i know they are not real vintage like my rogers but i am loving playing them, i needed a change.. :)

Beauties!!! Personally, I like natural wood better than plastic. I wouldn't wrap them.

Wrapping those would be like covering an oak floor with carpet. I'd keep them just the way they are. Beautiful wood, but I'm a carpenter by day, so I'm biased.
