For worth I check ebay's sold items.
Cool, I like coated ambassadors on Ludwigs- nice tone and not too much attack. Other heads I've tried kill the tone or have too much attack with a plastic sound or a thud sound.

good idea...I just can't find many rocker kits that have the classic lugs to compare.
Those heads do sound great on these drums

One thing I forgot to mention on my re-wrap job is that I wrapped over the existing wrap on the floor tom. You can see a little of the old red wrap at the top and bottom...not much but you can see it if you look for it. My question is....would you re-wrap it or leave it? I'm thinking about buying more of the wrap just in case I want to redo it later....I'm worried if I wait too long I may not be able to get the same wrap to match.
