Acrylic drum kit identification?

Loading...

Can anyone help me identify this Acrylic drum kit?

It has what appears to be Pearl lugs and hardware.

I know it's over 20 years old, but no idea how old it is.

It has stickers on the shells saying "London drum Centre. Portabello Road. London.

Any help appreciated.

Holy Moly these are interesting acrylics I can't really tell about the shells?

but the tom mount receiver looks like Slingerland the lugs look Pearl

The FT leg brackets, the gull wing spurs and brackets, and the T-rods on the bass drum all look like Ludwig

the actual double tom holder looks mostly Slingerland combined with some improvised rig of some sort ........ I love them !

Pearl made acrylics in the 60's.

They were called "Crystal Beat"

These look like "Crystal Beats"

Lugs are Pearl.

Muffler knobs are Pearl.

But the tom holder is different from Pearl.

Thanks for the feedback, it all matches/confirms what I thought and found, so I think it was probably a custom made kit at the 'London drum centre' made up out of anything they had in the stock room.

All the drums are round, no oval.
