That drum has some nice looking chrome on it! If I Could get that for less than 200 I would go for it. But then I would remove that horrible black stuff and polish it if possible or paint it.

Jeff, No it's a refin, as K.O. And Oddball have eluded. there are 10 lug acro's and the badge most certainly has been re applied the grommet isn't Factory Ludwig/
I appreciate all the input to date! I've learned that there apparently are 10-lug Acros, which I wasn't aware of, as well as Acros issued from the Ludwig factory with Imperial lugs. The shell of this particular drum has obviously been painted and several of you have also mentioned that the grommet is not original. What I'm still not sure of is whether the drum is an Acrolite or a Supra. Anybody know how that could be determined with any certainty?
Going by the badge, the 10 lugs, and the paint job (which typically would hide a pitted chrome finish), I'd guess it's a Supra.
