Hi new member here. just stumbled across web site and thought it was cool. Also I have a aluminum 14 x 5 Ludwig snare drum from 1968 ser # 539 933 I found at a pawn shop and was wondering if someone knows what its worth. any info would be appreciated.

Hello, first you should give us a better description and gather the information so we know for sure what we are giving a value on.
Search the links at the top for badges and also visit the vintagedrumguide.com section and click on the Ludwig drum image on the home page. Once there click on Ludwig Snare Drum Catalog Pages...
It should have a Keystone badge? Also, 8 lugs?
If that is the case your Ludwig Acrolite is in the $150 - $200 range..
The prices are changing with the economy at the moment so visit Ebay and search completed auctions for Ludwig Acrolites..
