I will keep you posted on this one. I've done all I can from my end. I packed those cymbals in cymbal bags, bubble wrap and custom fit the works tight in the box with hard styrofoam. I used the real good packing tape - lots of it. I think you could kick that sucker down three of four flights of concrete stairs with no damage - the box is covered with layers of tape. I have all the insurance they would let me put on it. I hope it arrives at Maciek's end with no problems.
The post office said at least eight weeks to get to Poland. It goes out on a ship.....and they wait until the ship is full before sailing I'm told. I gave him a tracking number but there will be a long wait for information between here and Poland.
Oh - and I carefully documented the packing procedure with lots of photos of the cymbals before packing, during and after. Just in case I have to make an insurance claim.
That's pretty much it..have to wait now..................
