A Trusting Sole for sure !

I'm trying not to be pessimistic, as I have been on Maciek's end when I sent $375.00 for a cymbal I saw on Craiglist in Indiana. I'm am trusting as I think most people are, but with overseas transactions and customs, I'm waiting till the fat lady starts singing on this one.

Gary, I look forward to hearing all is well on Maciek's end.

Its better to have people think you're an idiot, than to open your mouth and prove them wrong, unless you doubt yourself then speak away....

I look forward to hearing that the cymbals have arrived in his hands. That's the point at which I can really relax whenever I ship cymbals. I've never had anything I've shipped lost or damaged so far, but I have had one drum sent to me go missing, and a few things which suffered slight damage and such along the way.

Keep us posted. I guess we may have to wait a month to find out.

I will keep you posted on this one. I've done all I can from my end. I packed those cymbals in cymbal bags, bubble wrap and custom fit the works tight in the box with hard styrofoam. I used the real good packing tape - lots of it. I think you could kick that sucker down three of four flights of concrete stairs with no damage - the box is covered with layers of tape. I have all the insurance they would let me put on it. I hope it arrives at Maciek's end with no problems.

The post office said at least eight weeks to get to Poland. It goes out on a ship.....and they wait until the ship is full before sailing I'm told. I gave him a tracking number but there will be a long wait for information between here and Poland.

Oh - and I carefully documented the packing procedure with lots of photos of the cymbals before packing, during and after. Just in case I have to make an insurance claim.

That's pretty much it..have to wait now..................
