Very nice looking kit! Excellent work
I also noticed the buildings and such in the background of some of the pictures and noted how beautiful it looked. Never been to France before... but would like to see more!
Thanks for posting your kit

HA! Just having a good chuckle about the 'Star' Bass mounted cymbal mount. I stared at that thing for quite some time when I restored the 'Royal Star' kit I recently sold. That thing is an engineers nightmare. I swear, the guy that developed that must have been insane. Especially since most other manufacturers got by just fine with a floor tom leg mount. It does make those kits interesting!
Your WMP Star kit is wonderful! Great job! Those drums sound much better than most give 'em credit for.
Beautiful kit...
Great work...
Cheers
You, sir, have done a mighty good accounting of restoration and ingenuity. The color is my fave, especially when evenly "mellowed" all around. Great looking drums! (now there is 2 Deutschlanders, A New Zealander, an Ausie, a couple of Canadians and a couple of Americans to admire your work...)
Was just reading this and your other resto thread. Beautiful work and great saves on both!
greetings,Your drums look fantastic. You did a good job in the re-birth. I like the candle wax trick.Never heard of that one.It will be done on my root beer Clubdates .I always ask people from France if they ever heard of St Germain or if they had seen him in concert? He puts on one of the best ever shows ever. Take care,Vati
Very well done. Those drums exude class. You certainly put some love into them. Thank you for sharing with us.
As to more people becoming drummers; on the positive side we would all get along much better, but on the negative side the rate of spontaneous human combustion would rise enough that it would, in fact become widely reported.
Very admirable! I like the candle trick on the bearing edges! Encore bravo, mec!!!
Absolutley brilliant Job;-)
Cool Set!Yes Sir
