The first thing I thought when I saw this post is that this would be a great kit for C3PO.

Give him a Gretsch RB kit,and I'll bet he could really make it look different!

Gretsch reference is GONE!!!!

Delusional attitude about these drums, however is still present.

Listing has changed SIGNIFICANTLY. Gone is the laborious description of what he had done, and his instrument website name is gone, as well. You can still see the wrinkled wrap on the kick drum. I wonder if he got wind of the way some of us (including me) were skewering him on this forum?

I hope he has. Maybe if we do this enough times we can singlehandedly as a group (bit of an oxymoron) clean up all the stupid Craigslist ads. I know it will not stop the people from listing drums like a Tama Rockstar kit from the 80's for $3500 and saying it cost $8500 new but its worth a try. These guys deserve no mercy.

What always gets me is that these guys think they're pulling the wool over peoples' eyes, even though they're posting their CRAP on what is affectionately known as the "Information Superhighway". Yes, all of this can be refuted quite easily with a few keystrokes and mouse clicks.

The scary thing is, somewhere out there is someone who just loves this kit. Maybe it reminds them of the girl on Goldfinger.
