Just finished tuning it up and taking pictures. It's an Apollo snare, Silver Sparkle, MIJ, 5 1/2 x 14, 8-lug, and as near as I can tell 3-ply with mahogany as the inside ply. I got most of it in a trade from Billnvick, the rest of the parts trickled in. Not sure I can say I "restored" it, but I cleaned and polished like a mother!

Anyhow, it's done and I think it's cool... but I won't get to really try it out until Thursday night's practice.

Any suggestions? Comments? Apollo love?
