A guy stopped by at my shop yesterday. He needed parts for his Silver sparkle preserial 13,16,20 +400 COB supra set...

Both hoops for the bass drum, one for each tom, a cymbal arm and bracket, 5 t's and claws, and old 20' front head w/ script logo...etc,etc

He told me his Grandma bought it for him last week on a Garage sale in Wisconsin...for:...$2.00 bucks...DOS DOLARES, a pair of bucks...He ask her: "Abuela (they're latinos)...you mean two hundred right?"...."No Mijo...DOS DOLARES...

I almost fainted right there...by the way...Theyre in great condition...

Wow once in a lifetime deal. Great to hear stories like this. Makes you wonder if they didn't sell for $2 where they would have ended up. Grandma did very well on that one! Cool1
